Estimaid is a quoting and invoicing app for cleaning businesses, built by KUBERSTAR. This policy covers both the iOS app and this website, estimaid.app. It separates two very different things: your business data, which stays with you, and anonymous usage counts, which tell us which screens and pages get used.

The short version
Your quotes, clients, rate cards, photos, and signatures never leave your device except through your own private iCloud. We have no server that holds any of it, and we cannot read it. Separately, the app and this website count anonymous usage - which screen or page was opened, which button was tapped - on a Plausible analytics server that KUBERSTAR runs itself, with no cookies, no advertising, and no identifier that follows you between sites. You can turn the app's share of that off with the "Share usage analytics" switch in Settings.
Data we collect
No personal data. Estimaid has no user accounts and no sign-in, and neither the app nor this website carries an advertising or tracking SDK. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or an advertising identifier, and we never see your quotes, clients, prices, or business details. What we do collect is anonymous usage: a count of which screens and pages get opened and which actions get used, described in the two sections below.
Your business data
Everything you create in Estimaid - rate cards, saved quotes and invoices, your business profile and logo, walkthrough photos, client signatures, scheduling, and payment status - is stored on your device. We do not have a server that holds any of it. It is never uploaded to us, and it is never included in analytics: the only route it can take off your device is your own private iCloud, or a file you choose to export or send yourself.
iCloud sync
If iCloud is enabled on your device, Estimaid uses Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) to sync your data across your own Apple devices and to back it up. That data lives in your private iCloud account, not on our servers - we cannot see or access it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can turn iCloud off for Estimaid in the iOS Settings app.
Photos and the camera
If you attach walkthrough photos to a quote, Estimaid reads only the images you pick and stores them with that quote on your device (and in your iCloud, if enabled). Photos are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
Purchases
Estimaid Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system - as a yearly or monthly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Apple processes the transaction and your payment details, so we never see or store your payment information. Your purchase and subscription status are managed by your Apple Account, and Apple's handling of that data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Analytics in the app
So we can see where the app is confusing - how many people who start a quote finish it, how many open the Pro screen - Estimaid sends small anonymous events (for example "a quote was created", "the paywall was shown") to https://analytics.kuberstar.com/api/event. That address is a Plausible Community Edition server KUBERSTAR hosts itself; the events are not sent to any advertising network or third-party analytics SDK. An event carries only the action's name, your platform and app version, and a coarse label - which export format you shared in, which screen opened the Pro page, which subscription identifier was bought or restored, roughly how long an abandoned quote was open - never a client, an address, an amount, a photo, a signature, or a device or advertising identifier. Plausible is cookieless: it derives a daily-rotating, non-reversible hash from your IP address to count a visit and does not store the IP itself, so nothing links today's events to yesterday's or to you. Events are queued on your device and retried later if you are offline, and are deleted from the device once accepted. To stop it, turn off "Share usage analytics" in Estimaid's Settings; nothing is sent while that is off. Because the events are anonymous, there is nothing on the server that could be traced back and deleted afterwards.
This website
estimaid.app runs the same self-hosted Plausible. Every page loads a tracking script from https://analytics.kuberstar.com/js/script.tagged-events.js, which counts page views and a handful of interaction events - how far down a page you scrolled, which section came into view, which FAQ you opened, which calculator preset you picked, that an estimate was copied or shared, and that you clicked an outbound or mailto link. The calculators run entirely in your browser: the rent, room count, or price you type is never sent to us, only a coarse price band once a result is shown. Plausible sets no cookies, stores no persistent identifier, and cannot follow you to other websites, so no cookie banner is needed. It records the page URL, the referring site, and a country, region, browser, operating system, and device type derived from your IP address and user agent; the IP address itself is not stored.
Third parties
Four, and no more. Apple, for iCloud sync and In-App Purchases, under Apple's own privacy terms. Plausible Community Edition, which is not a third-party service here at all - it is software KUBERSTAR runs on its own server at analytics.kuberstar.com, so the analytics data never reaches an outside analytics company. Cloudflare, which serves this website as our CDN and security layer: it therefore processes your IP address, user agent, and the URL you requested to deliver the page and block attacks, may set its own strictly technical cookies such as bot detection, and may add a small performance-measurement script of its own at the edge. And your own device's operating system, for the share sheet, Mail, and Messages when you send a quote. There is no advertising network, no data broker, and no social-media pixel anywhere in the app or on this site.
Children's privacy
Estimaid is a business tool intended for adults. It has no accounts and collects no personal data from anyone, including children, and it shows no advertising.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights over your personal data. We hold none: your business data never reaches us, and the usage counts described above are anonymous, so there is no profile to access, export, correct, or delete, and nothing to sell - we have never sold or shared personal data. Your business data stays under your control: you can delete individual quotes inside the app, remove the app to clear its on-device data, and manage or delete its iCloud data from the iOS Settings app. You can stop the app's analytics at any time with the "Share usage analytics" switch in Settings, and you can stop the website's by blocking analytics.kuberstar.com in any content blocker - the site works exactly the same without it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how Estimaid handles data, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected in an app update.
